Established in 2003, A Friend in the Woods is an independently owned company, serving the Jacksonville area. With over 21 years of experience in the Pet Sitting industry, A Friend in the Woods fills an important need in the lives of your pets by keeping them happy and comfortable while you're busy at work or away on vacation.  Whether we're needed for one visit or one month, its our job to give you and your pets complete peace of mind, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

1 - DO A LITTLE RESEARCH

2 - REQUEST A consultation

  • FILL OUT A FEW DETAILS ON THE ACCOUNT SET UP PAGE SO WE KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOUR NEEDS ARE. WE WILL CONTACT YOU VIA EMAIL WITHIN 24 HRS OF YOUR SUBMISSION. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL (INCLUDING JUNK FOLDER) AND RESPOND PROMPTLY AS WE CHECK AVAILABILITY AT THE TIME OF YOUR REQUEST. IF YOU WAIT TOO LONG, THE SPOT MAY BE FILLED.

    **IF YOU DON’T HAVE DATES BUT WOULD LIKE TO MEET SO WE ARE READY FOR FUTURE TRAVEL, WE WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE WE ARE THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOUR PET SITTING NEEDS. WE CURRENTLY BOOK UP AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE SO IF YOU DO SPUR OF THE MOMENT TRAVEL OFTEN, PLEASE LET US KNOW.
